Newport Shores Fourth of July Parade and Celebration 2014

For decades, Newport Shores has celebrated the Fourth of July with an annual Parade and Celebration for the neighborhood.

Newport Shores Fourth of July Parade My siblings and I looked forward to it every summer, spending the night before decorating our bikes.  Some years, we even decorated ourselves. Newport Shores Fourth of July Parade       The Parade This year, the parade starts at 10:00 am at the clubhouse. There will be food, games and more from 10am to 3pm. Get your bikes, scooters, wagons and yourselves decorated and get ready to celebrate. Be sure to come on out and enjoy the Newport Shores Fourth of July parade.         Carnival Games and Food Admission to the carnival is free. However, there will be a charge for all games and food. There will be a dunk tank, tattoos, bounce houses and more. There will also be hot dogs and snow cones. So be sure to come by and join in the celebration and this great tradition. If after the Newport Shores Fourth of July, you still have more energy, take a look at other Fourth of July options. I just posted that my area has canceled the fireworks.  I remember watching the fireworks in Newport many years ago.  I even ran the local 5K race that day!  Enjoy!
