Newport Shores Fourth of July Parade and Celebration

For decades, Newport Shores has celebrated the Fourth of July with an annual Parade and Celebration. This year, the tradition continues.

Newport Shores Fourth of July Parade

It is something that my siblings and I anticipated every summer, and we always spent the night before decorating our bikes and, sometimes, ourselves.

The Parade

This year, the parade starts at 10:00 am at the clubhouse. Coffee and doughnuts will be available at 9:30 am. Get your bikes, scooters, wagons and yourselves decorated and get ready to celebrate.

This year you will have a new parade route to enjoy; so be sure to come on out and enjoy the Newport Shores Fourth of July parade.

Carnival Games and Food

The carnival games begin at 11 am. Admission to the carnival is free. However, there will be a charge for all games and food. There will be a dunk tank, tattoos, bounce houses and more. There will also be hot dogs and snow cones.

So be sure to come by and join in the celebration and this great tradition.

If after the Newport Shores Fourth of July, you still have more energy, take a look at other Fourth of July options.

We were hoping to have the 51 Chevy done this year and be in one of the many 4th of July parades around town.... But, didn't make it... Maybe next year.

Debe - Did you get them done yet?  It was nice talking to you and Steve last night even if the technology was troublesome.

Todd - That sounds like a lot of fun.  I hope next year sees you in at least one parade.
