Halloween at Disneyland - Holiday Fun Part 2

Halloween at Disneyland - Holiday Fun Part 2

Disneyland is famous for its Christmas decorations, and for the last few years, it has really stepped up its Halloween festivities too.

This year, Disneyland is even more decked out for Halloween than in previous years.

Goofy Halloween Pumpkin

In addition to the usual Haunted Mansion which has been invaded redecorated by Jack Skellington, Space Mountain is now Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy with ghouls added to the meteors and Big Thunder Ranch Halloween Round Up wtih lots of activities and crafts for the kids.

Disney Halloween Hearse

All of this can be enjoyed during the day.

If this isn't enough for you, there is also Mickey's Halloween Party.  A few years ago, Disney began a Halloween event at Disney's California Adventure.  This year, due to construction, it has been moved to Disneyland.  Kids and adults come in costume and trick or treat at different stations around Disneyland, and it wouldn't be complete without one of Disney's festive parades.  Mickey's Halloween Party requires a separate ticket from Disneyland's usual ticket.  You can buy tickets at Mickey's Halloween Party.

All of the fun ends on Halloween, so be sure that you get over to Disneyland in the next week to enjoy the holiday as only Disney can present it.

Christine,

How awesome is that, we go to DisneyWorld every chance we get, but Deb has been bugging me to give DisneyLand a try. After your post I think we may give it a try...

Christine-I love these pictures!!  We have been to Disneyworld twice, but not to Disneyland.  We were at Disneyworld about 10 years ago at Halloween, but there were not any decorations for Halloween.  That was a number of years ago though.  Universal had quite the after hours Halloween attactions though.  I have been missing Disney.  Thanks for the pictures!  Looks like a great time to visit!

Any events in November or are we just out of luck on that one?

Spectacular photos - no one does it better than Disney!  Have made a few trips to Disney World, but never to Disneyland.

Brent - I may be a little biased ; ) but I think Disneyland's better.

Mel - They've really gotten into Halloween a lot more in the last few years.

Todd - Depending on when in November, they'll be decorated for Christmas, which is just gorgeous.

Susan - Disney really is something special.

Todd - I'll see if I can find out when they decorate for Christmas.  I can't remember if it's before Thanksgiving.  I kind of think it is, but I'm not positive.
