Pleasure Pier and Catalina Casino - A Great Combination - Speechless Sundays

Another gorgeous day on Catalina Island with the Green Pleasure Pier (isn't that a great name?) in the forefront and the Catalina Casino in the background.
I even got a little time in the beautiful blue water today while watching others play.

You are so lucky to live in such a beautiful city! I'd love to jump on a boat and go to Catalina Island on Sundays.
Christine, I'll have to make sure I include some time exploring Catalina when I'm out that way in January.
I so miss water!!! Looks like a great place to walk around and enjoy the scenery.
Coleen - So come out and play.
Kevin - I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Juli -It is a great place to visit and relax.
Christine,
I love the water as well.....postcard perfect shot for sure!
Nice shot...looks like another beautiful day in paradise ;-)
Hi Christine... Simply charming. I love how the architectures and scales play off of each other!
Lori and John - Thank you. It was a gorgeous day.
Steve - I had fun lining up the shot walking up and down the beach searching for just what I wanted.
Hi Christine, would you believe it twice in the past eight years had tickets to go....then Real Estate came into the picture:)) so it is still on my list to do. As you know we are close to the transportation as well, so no real excuses:)))
This is a beautiful area that I have visited several times, I forgot how nice it was
your friend in Charlottesville
Christine,
Very pretty and restful shot. Quite colorful. :)
Steve
Your pier does certainly look warmer than ours does. (LOL) But, I hear you had 113 degree weather down there yesterday, there is a point that it is too hot and you have found it.

Christine, great photo, and this place looks like it is just pure fun!
Endre - I'm with Nike - Just Do It! It's worth the trip.
Charles - It is a beautiful place.
Steve - It's the most colorful pier I think I've ever heard of.
Todd - Many of the cities around here experienced the hottest day on record, not just for that date, but ever. It's been ridiculously hot!
Pat - It is pure fun out there and gorgeous.
Hi Christine,
Beautiful pic. Catalina looks like a fun place to visit and explore (or be lucky enough to live).
~Lisa
Scott - It is a beautiful place to visit and very different from PA.
