Christine - ah-ha, here's your first production.
I will pass on all the encouragement, and all the PC wonderful stuff. I am sure you will have enough of that anyway. It is fun, but you asked for critique...
Why captions? If you expect me to read, then I can't watch at the same time. It is distracting
Slides go without sound, and they fall out of the rest of the presentation. They are nice, but they are foreign objects there, and just saying it could be more dynamic and enough.
Thhe biggest question I had is why there are two people. I do not see how it enhances the video. I think each of you, guys, could do it and it would be as entertaining as 2 of you. But it may be easier to do, and you could do 2 video blogs instead of one.
Also, Christine, I am not sure why you do not use that you are an attorney as well as an agent/broker. You did not mention it anywhere.
I would start that this is brought to you by... and would defiitely mention it as it adds credibility. Hope you are not mad at me.
Will be coming to see how it goes.
Jon - Thank you for the detailed analysis. I will consider the slides. I thought they might be helpful. As to the captions, I thought it would help Google to index, but I was considering taking them out too. I may just go do that.
We decided to try two people so we could interact together. Trying to do it on my own, just wasn't working.
I also agree I need to add the attorney into it. I don't use it as often in my marketing as I should. It's just part of who I am.
And, I'm definitely not mad at you.
Jon - I noticed the same thing, and I have no idea. Mom always said posture was important. Maybe that's all it was. It's making me think a diet is in my very near future.
Christine.....Your video has some very good points for avoiding foreclosure. I do alot of videos and find that, like with most other things, practice and repetition yield better and better results. Having 2 people for interaction is easier, but your can certainly do it alone and get great results.
Hey! Wadda ya mean not ready for prime time? I've seen so many video blogs so much sorse than this. Just kidding. It made great points, was easy to understand, and you guys sound like you know what you are talking about. What more could one ask?
I liked it, you came off human, which for awhile, I wasn't sure you were. (LOL) But, I really got a laugh when you said welcome to the real estate minute and I look down and see 3 minutes left? Great advice though, people do need to realize what hiding from the problem can do to them personally and to their credit.

I've seen many people get sick just from the stress of the foreclosure process because they were afraid to ask for help. ASK FOR HELP, we are here for that reason!!
Sue - I like the idea of having somebody with whom to interact. I hope you can talk Robin into being brave soon.
Carra - I think practice will definitely help us. And, I do like the interaction.
Pat - Thank you. We had a lot of fun and think maybe we need to post out takes.
Todd - I guess we should have called it the Orange County Minutes, but it just didn't seem to have the same ring ; ) Seriously, I do wish that more people would come ASK for help.
Hi Christine! I can't BELIEVE I didn't comment here after we chatted! Of course, I've been a bit 'off' this week!
I noticed the same thing with the weight--very strange because you were dressed in the same outfit! LOL
No need for props--you really can't seem what they are anyway.
I like the back and forth between the two of you. It's far less 'boring' than with one person just talking.
Initially, and I learned this from critique on mine, you need to tout that you ARE an attorney and give them a call to action--"Hi I'm Christine Donovan, real estate attorney and REALTOR--Call me with any questions that you may have regarding the short sale process but, for now, here are the basics to help get you started..." Remember, people like to be told what to do!!
I think it's a FANTASTIC start to your Hollywood beginnings! I'm TOTALLY impressed--AND you gave great information to the consumer--after all, isn't that what you're trying to achieve here?!!
Hugs,
Debe- I hope your week's getting a little less crazy.
You're right, we need to give a little more instruction and a little more reason to call. We'll work on it on the next one.
Thanks,
I agree with Debe. It's much more interesting with the 2 of you conversing. I do believe you said you both met at RainCamp? Hmmmm....I assume this means I will be seeing you in San Jose on September 27th. Done and done! :)
Kerrie - We met on AR and in person at Rain Camp. San Jose depends on when my out of country client wants to meet.
Kerrie,
Christina's coming to Charlotte!! Get READY for it...
;-)
Debe - Christine wants to. Need dates - can't interfere with little one's bday.
I know! I'm DYING to know when!! One would think Miss Kerrie would have SOME idea---hint, hint!!
Debe - Me too.
