Villa Balboa is a gated community in Newport Heights which is located mere blocks from the ocean off of Superior Avenue.
The homes are accessed via interior hallways, similar to those of a nice hotel. Each building has subterranean garages whic are shared parking. The association has several amenities including a clubhouse, a state-of-the-art gym, two pools, two jacuzzis and tennis courts, all located on the park-like grounds.
Many of the homes in Villa Balboa feature lovely ocean and Catalina views and many of them have been remodeled and highly upgraded and feature large balconies from which to enjoy the lovely Newport Beach weather.
Built between 1979 and the mid-1980's, Villa Balboa is located just down the street from shopping on 17th Street and Newport Boulevard and is walking distance to Hoag Hospital. Best of all, these homes are just a bit of walk to the beach.
Though Villa Balboa shares the gated community with Versailles, they are two separate associations, each with their own amenities and personalities.

You do not want to purchase at Villa Balboa for one reason alone. They have the absolute worst management company. Just try calling 949-722-7503, I'll guarantee you will not get an answer. We the residence are frustrated beyond belief. They DO NOT even have an answering machine.

Z. Bee - I'm sorry you've had such frustrations with your management company. Perhaps you might want to talk with your board about making a change.
"Z. Bee" is obviously a crank and not living in Villa Balboa . . . misspelled words, wrong management company telephone number . . . just someone trying to spoil your website. The complex is professionally managed, has retained high resale values and, yes, the management company DOES answer their telephone . . . heck, they even have a receptionist and are in one of those big-time, high rise buildings in Irvine!
