Disneyland - Volunteer for a Day, Get a Day Free
Have you been thinking that in today's world, you are more fortunate than others, and perhaps you should be giving back?
Have you been thinking that you would like to go to Disneyland, but you would rather save the entrance fee?
What if you could combine these two things? What if you could help other and get into Disneyland free?
Why not participate in Give a Day, Get a Disney Day?
Disneyland wants to inspire 1 million people to volunteer for a day. To do this, Disney is offering to give a free admission for one day and one park to each person who volunteers. You must pre-register and sign up through Disney's site in order to participate.
This program begins January 1, 2010 and ends December 15, 2010 or once all tickets have been distributed, whichever occurs first.
What better way to combine two wonderful things, helping others and enjoying a day at the Magic Kingdom?
So, if you would like to participate, be sure that you sign up on Disney's Site and be sure to do it before Disney runs out of tickets.

I would totaly do it, as long as they dont put in a Cinderella custom!!!
I am a big advocate of volunteering and giving back to the community and kudos to Disney for this great program encouraging others to get involved!
Ray - I don't think Cinderella is a requirement, just giving back ; )
Russel - I think this is a great idea and way to get more people involved.
This is a really good idea. I bet it goes over big! Hope you have a great day!
Christine is that you in the suit? I think you would make a very good Goofy:)
I'm with Russel. I do a lot of volunteering too. This is a great win win!
I think this is a great program for which Disney should be commended. It is truly a win-win for all involved and worthy charities reap the greatest benefit.
Christine...What a really cool program. A very nice way to enjoy a day at the park.
Featured in Cosmic Cow Pie!
Rob - It seems to be going over really big with many participating so far.
Bill - Are you trying to say I'm a little "Goofy"? I'm afraid I'm a bit too short to be Goofy, but my kids would probably agree with you.
Connie - I agree. I think it's brillian on Disney's part.
Tom - It's great for the charities, and I'm sure it's great PR for Disney.
Carra - It really is a great way. You give a few hours to others, and Disney gives you a day.
Thanks for the feature.
From the desk of David Dee,
Christine, I read about this last month as well. This is a great idea! Volunteer and having fun at the happiest place on earth! :D
Super cool program! I wish I lived closer to Disneyland. Don't laugh - I have never been. Hug Mickey for me next time you go ;)
What a wonderful idea and program! I agree with Russell above comments! Excellent post Christine!
Thank very much for sharing!
David - It seems like a great combo to me, and apparently a lot of people agree.
Renee - You know if you come out for Rain Camp LA that makes it a business trip, and you can give Mickey your own hug.
Adam - It's good for everybody involved.
