Market Broiler - Great Seafood - Better Deals
Market Broiler is located just up the street from my house at 20111 Brookhurst Street in Huntington Beach at the corner of Brookhurst and Adams. Their phone number is 714-963-7796.
This has to be one of my favorite seafood restaurants, and there are a lot of them around, given the fact we're next to the Pacific Ocean.
Market Broiler has great seafood, and unlike some restaurants, it also has great side dishes,
My favorites are the red potatoes and the veggies. My husband likes the mashed potatoes.
The fish is fresh; the bread is hot out of the oven, and there's enough for the four of us to share two entrees (of course my kids are still little).
They've just recently finished a remodel, and the place looks great, and you now get to watch the chef preparing your food.
Market Broiler is kid friendly with children's menus that double as coloring books and isn't so quiet that the kid's noise will stand out while not being so loud that you can't talk.
Market Broiler is a small chain with 5 restaurants, all in California. Two are in Orange County.
This year, they've made the Market Broiler even better by adding their Retro Specials to celebrate their 20th anniversary.
The daily specials for Market Broiler are only $9.95 and are:
Monday - Design Your Own Duo - You get two pick two items as your entree such as Mahi Mahi, shrimp skewers, chicken, etc. This is my favorite.
Tuesday - Sirloin and Steak
1/2 price wine Monday and Tuesday
Wednesday - Carmelized salmon
Thursday - Triple S Combo - Salmon, snapper and shrimp skewer
1/2 price appetizers Wednesday and Thursday
Every day specials
Fresh catch of the day - $9.95
1/2 pound snow crab platter - $9.95 (yum!)
Fish 'n' chips - $7.95
So, whether you've been to Market Broiler or not, do your taste buds a favor and stop in for a treat and a great price.

Christine, you had me on Monday with the duo and half priced wine! It's nice to have a place close by that's affordable. Especially with fresh fish!
Erik - I don't think I've had the carmelized salmon though I'm sure it's great.
I'd bet it's like carmelized onions.
