NMUSD is working closely with the Orange County Health Care Agency to receive alerts and information.
The distict asks that all be vigilant and wash hands and keep your children home from school if they show signs of illness.

Christine - glad there are no confirmed cases, and appreciate the fact the district is keeping is updated. The schools however have changed their message recording on the attendance line asking specific symptoms and if your child has a fever, I am glad they are being pro-active.
Sharon - I heard yesterday that there may be a couple of cases in Fountain Valley.
I think it makes sense for the schools to be pro-active, but I wonder how much is hype.
