It seem the Christmas season is in full swing. Last weekend it was Christmas parties; next weekend will be the Newport Beach boat parade and Dylan's first birthday.
But, this week was something special. This Friday was Lil' Lighthouse Preschool's Christmas Pageant followed by Saturday at the Naple Island boat parade. The pageant is quite an affair with 3-5 year old children singing their heart out about the true meaning of Christmas. They dress in either festive Christmas attire or actual costumes and are taught sign language by the teachers to go with the words they sing.
As always, this is an amazing affair brought to us by the combined efforts of all of the incredible teachers at this wonderful preschool and spear head by Marge Menashe who never ceases her efforts to teach our "kiddos".
Having enjoyed David's performance on the drums a different year, Steve and I looked forward to his rendition of the Little Drummer boy. He couldn't have been more excited about the drum or the red drumsticks.
The church was packed with family and friends to enjoy the joyful singing of these young children as they celebrated the Christmas holiday.
I hope you too have celebrations this holiday season that remind you how special this time truly is.
