It seems that they are both eyeing each other; all while not looking directly at each other.

My kids are a never ending source of delight for me.  I never know what they're going to come up with, and they're such characters.  My little one is too young (I think) to realized the attitude he's pulling off here, and still, I just had to snap a quick picture with my phone before the moment and the attitude was lost.

La Brea Tar Pits

 

 

When we visited the La Brea Tar Pits, my little one was fascinated by the mastadon/Wooly Mammoth.  He was trying to decide what it was and wanted a better look at the big dinosaur with the big tusks.

Then he wanted Daddy to explain exactly what it was.
