It's Summer Time. Are You Taking a Break?
Do you remember summer when you were a kid? Was it a time for relaxation, time for your friends, and just to generally chill out.
For most adults, that doesn't seem to exist any more. Perhaps for teachers, but what about everybody else?

Why is this important? Do you remember how eager you were (or maybe it was just me) to return to school at the end of summer, excited to see friends and get back into the swing of things?

I wonder sometimes in our fast-paced, hard-working world, if we don't lose out for our failure to take a break, to regenerate our batteries, our minds, our spirits.
Did you know that in many countries in Europe several weeks vacation is mandatory? I'm talking about 6 weeks of vacation each year!
Would you feel more relaxed if that was required? More time for you, for your family, for the other parts of your life?
What do you think? Are we working ourselves to death?
