DocuSign Around the World and a New Computer

DocuSign is a great tool to make contracts easier. When I think of DocuSign, there are two distinct stories that come to mind.

I first started using DocuSign a few years when I had a client in Europe who wanted to purchase a home here.  The first time around, we tried having me email it, they printed it out and attempted to fax it to me.  It did not work well.  They didn't have a scanner, and we had a mess.  I had heard of DocuSign and decided to try it.  I set it up, sent it to my client, and bing, bang, bam.  Five minutes later, I had a "signed" document to submit.  We got the deal, they have a new vacation home, and everybody is happy.

Another time DocuSign came in handy was right after I purchased my new mini netbook.  My husband was pondering why I thought I needed this along with the handy, dandy built in aircard.  A few days after I bought it, I showed one of my listings, and the buyer loved it.  She wanted to know what we needed to do to get it for her.  We sat down at the dining room table, wrote the contract, DocuSigned it, emailed it to my seller who DocuSigned, and bang, we had a contract in a period of minutes!

FYI - My husband never questioned my decision about that computer again ; )

Bottom line.  I think this is a great tool for getting a contract done quickly.
