I came out to Dallas to visit with family and was able to sneak in a visit with a friend I met on Active Rain.

Active Rain has been a fabulous place for business, to learn and to make friends.  The Rain has been such a great placd to play for me, and days like today reminde me just how much I like it here.

So, here's to a great day of introducing Steve Shatsky to my brother, sister, niece and nephew.

Thanks to Steve for being so great and helpful today as I tried to figure out if we could sit down and visit today.

OC Active Rain Meet Up - 9-8-11 at Newport Brew Co.

 

As you probably know by now, Active Rain is having it's first Virtual Rain Camp on 9-8-11.  One of the greatest things about the Rain Camps I have been to across the country is the chance to meet other Rainers.  To keep that benefit of the Rain Camps, AR has created the AR Meet Ups.

Stacey Smith and I are excited to be putting together Orange County's AR meet up right after the First Active Rain Virtual Rain Camp.  We have chosen Newport Beach Brewing Company as the perfect place to meet friends, catch up, meet IRL while enjoying great food and brew.  So if you're in the OC or you feel like coming in from any of the outlying counties, we would love to see you.

OC's Meet Up will start at 2pm to give you time to get there after Rain Camp. 

The address is 2920 Newport Boulevard, Newport Beach.  There is plenty of parking in the back. 

Come on out for a great time. We can't wait to see all of you!
